
InnovationHUB & Grupo AIA: We can´t make it alone, but together we can!
In the yearly conference InnovationHUB, organized by Ideas4all and held from November 19th to 21st in Madrid, the best business practices on ideas generation and customer service satisfaction were announced. For the second year in a row. Grupo AIA has been among them. Regina Llopis took part in the round table held on November 19th on “Conquering equality in a collaborative way” along with Elena García Armada, CEO of Marsi-Bionics and researcher of CSIC and Ana María Llopis, president and founder of ideas4all Innovation
María Gómez del Pozuelo, CEO de Womenalia, chairman of the round table, explained the need to increase the number of STEAM vocations among women and refute the assumption that technology is not for women. Accordingly, Elena García presented the latest technology in innovation projects with a social component when referring to the exoskeleton created by Marsi-Bionics. Regina Llopis backed the idea of supporting economically STEAM initiatives led by women and gave current figures of women´s entrepreneurship and talked about how they struggle when trying to create their own start-ups or businesses.

Llopis, claimed there is only 8 % of women investors in Spain as compared to 22% in the United States (AEBAN 2018 Report). However, according to the South Summit, 22% of women lead projects in Spain, so “we do it better than in the United States with 17%, and the United Kingdom with 20%”.
Ana Mª Llopis, reiterated the need to increase the number of women in top positions to reverse these figures and highlighted the role model as a key element to achieving this goal.
During the first day of the innovationHUB, open collective cases carried out by KPMG, Banco Santander and the Innovation center of RTVE were presented. They showed data of brand positioning strengthening between employees and customers thanks to Collective Intelligent Platforms.
Rafael Juan, CEO of Grupo Dulcesol, and Juan Ignacio Marrón, Innovation Managing Partner of KPMG Spain, said business innovation involves taking advantage of collective intelligence to get ideas for business improvement from all channels: employees and customers.
Moreover, at the conference held in Barcelona last Nov. 21st., the Zurich insurance company case was presented. This company had implemented an innovation and collective initiative with a positive impact on employees´ satisfaction and corporate transformation: listening actively to employees and making them feel proud of their workplace.

Finally, Carlos López, CEO of Grupo AIA and Rubén Hernández, Project Director of BS Idea of Banco Sabadell, and Fernando Echevarrieta, Business Development & Alliances ideas4all Innovation as moderator, explained innovation companies like Grupo AIA could help a bank like Banc Sabadell to develop the BS Idea: a Collective Intelligence Project under course to support the hypothesis Wisdom of the Crowd. In other words, the ideas of a group can create more efficient work teams. This Wisdom of the Crowd is considered as the best methodology for creating perfect teams.

During their participation in the round table Carlos López and Fernando Echevarrieta, highlighted the collective method Open Innovation as one of the best ways to innovate thanks to Collective Intelligence.
Events such as Open Innovation allow companies like Grupo AIA, on one side, with experts in Theoretical Physics to validate the hypothesis of Wisdom of the Crowd based on mathematical and physical concepts and Banc Sabadell, on the other side, in the Social Intelligence area, and conclude why the many are more intelligent than the few and how collective wisdom can shape businesses, economies, societies and nations.
