Australia has been the host country of the 2018 Global Summit of Women on its 28th edition and Regina LLopis, president of Grupo AIA, has been part of the Spanish delegation.
Under the slogan “Women: creating economies of shared value” the Global Summit of Women welcomed the most important top executives and board members from different countries to share the best experiences to foster women´s presence in the power zone and to exchange solutions and strategies to increase economic opportunities for women throughout the world. More than 1200 delegates from 65 countries went to Sidney to discuss about the economy and women.
Regina Llopis, as active member of the Spanish delegation, took part as moderator in the entrepreneur’s session “Protecting your business in the internet age”, to discuss about products, brand and customers data protection under the cyberattack era. Regina Llopis participated as president in the round table on online commerce and B2C businesses, protection against cyber-attacks and the new data protection Law GDPR and its impact on the digital business.
Katherine Robins, Partner, Cybersecurity, Deloitte Australia, Terri Janke, Solicitor Director, Terri Janke and Associates (Australia) and Laura Affat, Senior Cybersecurity Adviser, Oracle (Australia) also participated in the round table.
The next Global Summit of Women edition will take place in Zurich, Switzerland.
